CONTRIBUTIONS REGARDING ENVIRONMENTAL IMPACT OF THE TECHNOLOGICAL PROCESS IN TEMPORARY CASTING FORMS
Abstract
The paper presents an original experimental stand for measuring emissions and pollutant by-products in a casting shop of machine-building plant. The experimental results are achieved if the cast shapes forming in normal mixture and ground foundry.The work gives the calculation and determination of the coefficient of pollution and environmental indicators for the two molding processes. In order to determine the impact on the working environment and the effects of pollutants on the health of human operators, numerous measurements were made even in the operator's work areas using the original experimental stand. Using the material balance equation (inputs / outputs), the main pollutant emissions and pollutants arising from the technological process of casting a piece into shapes from the usual forming mixture and casting into the foundry soil were established. - concentrations of inhalable dusts containing SiO2, aerosols and fumes of various metals exceed the CMA value of Order no. 1957/1995, in all investigated areas and in different proportions; - formaldehyde concentrations exceed the CMA value of Order no. 1957/1995, in the MINIMIX sector; - NOx concentrations exceed the CMA value of Order no. 1957/1995, in all investigated areas and in different proportions; - CO concentrations exceed the CMA value of Order no. 1957/1995, in all investigated areas and in different proportions; - White spirit concentrations exceed both the CMA value of Order no. 1957/1995, in all investigated areas as well as the average permissible value;- xylene concentrations exceed both the CMA value of the Order no. 1957/1995, in all investigated areas of 100%, as well as the average permissible value;- the iron oxide concentrations exceed both the CMA value of the Order no. 1957/1995, in all investigated areas and in different proportions;
