The work is devoted to the West Siberian sedimentary basin Bazhenov formation (or Bazhenov shale) ? a unique oil-generating and oil-bearing geological formation. Bazhenov shale is an analog of the known shale oil deposits: Bakken, Eagle Ford and Monterrey (USA).
