APPLICATION OF THE ARTIFICIAL INTELLIGENCE IN THE ENERGY SOLVING OF BUILDING SERVICES OF INTELLIGENT BUILDINGS AREAS

(STEF92 Technology, 2017-11-20, Garlik, B., Hlavacek, P.)

Currently, a great emphasis is put on the environment, energy intensity, and therefore on applications of the renewable energy sources (RES). Putting a large amount of RES into the modern distribution systems represents certain problems we can address, inter alia, the variable energy outputs of RES aggregated together, including their accumulation managed by respective energy management system (EMS). The result may be the optimization unit commitment of RES distributed in the micro-grids of a fictitious intelligen...

ARTIFICIAL NEURON NETWORK MODELING AS A PREDICTION MODELS OF WATER QUALITY IN THE LAKES SUBJECTED TO THE TECHNICAL TREATMENTS

(STEF92 Technology, 2017-11-20, Augustyniak, R., Neugebauer, M., Grochowska, J., Solowiej, P.)

Lake water quality determines the possibility of its using for technical purposes (as a source of drinking or industrial water) and for recreational using (swimming, angling, water sports). In modern times the water quality state is deteriorating because of excessive anthropopressure. The attempts of water quality improvement are taken via technical methods implementation. In order to predict the effects of potential restoration actions the great need exists of the models development, which can help to select the ...

PREDICTION OF MECHANICAL PROPERTIES OF SOME IRON-BASED POWDER METALLURGY MATERIALS USING ARTIFICIAL NEURAL NETWORK

(STEF92 Technology, 2017-06-20, Marin, M., Marin, F. B., Potecasu, F., Potecasu, O.)

A learning algorithm was used as an artificial neural network (ANN) tool to predict the mechanical properties of some iron-based powder metallurgy (P/M) materials. Specimens prepared from atomized iron powder and from pre-alloyed iron base powders powders were analyzed in this paper. The specimens were fabricated by press and sintering of the mixed powders. The samples were compressed in a universal mechanical testing machine to a pressure of 400 and 600 MPa. The sintering temperature was approximately 1.150 °C. T...
