LITHOLOGIC AND PETROGRAPHIC CHARACTERISTICS OF UPPER CAMBRIAN DEPOSITS OF DALDYNO-ALAKIT REGION

(STEF92 Technology, 2017-11-20, Atlasov, R., Timofeev, N., Ivanov, A., Nikolaeva, M., Berdyev, S.)

Within the eastern Siberian platform are known objects worth mentioning from the standpoint of organizing the extraction of heavy oil and bitumen. The Siberian platform is characterized by a wide spreading of the surface-bearing and shallow-lying rocks saturated with products of hypergenic oil conversion. The article describes the results of lithologic and petrographic studies of bitumen-saturated carbonate rocks of Anabar anteclise southern slope (Daldyno-Alakit region). The upper part of the section of the sedim...

RESEARCHING THE EFFECTS OF DIFFERENT AGGREGATES AND BITUMEN TYPES ON ASPHALT MIXTURES

(STEF92 Technology, 2017-06-20, Ciont, N., Iliescu, M., Blazejowski, K., Wojcik-Wisniewska, M.)

The main purpose of this research is to analyse the influence of different natural aggregate sources, as well as different bitumen types, on the adhesion and affinity between the two materials and on the properties of stone mastic asphalt (SMA). The aggregates used in this study were both fine (sand 0/4) and coarse (4/8 and 8/16), extracted from four different natural rock quarries in Romania, selected after a geographical, geological and geomorphological analysis. From a petrographic point of view, the rocks extr...

MINERALOGY OF SANDSTONES AND LOCALIZATION OF OIL MATTER IN PRODUCTIVE HORIZONS OF HIGH-VISCOSITY OIL IN PERMIAN DEPOSITS OF THE VOLGA-URAL REGION (RUSSIA)

(STEF92 Technology, 2017-06-20, Mullakaev, A.I., Khasanov, R.R., Galiullin, B.M.)

Bitumen deposits in Permian sediments in the Volga-Ural region are interesting as sources of unconventional oil. The reservoir rocks in the bituminous deposits are sand and sandstone of varying degrees of strength. For the prognosis of productive areas, it is important to study the peculiarities of the composition of bitumen-containing rocks and the mechanisms of localization of oil matter in them. These processes are closely related to the conditions of formation of the surrounding rocks. We examined samples of b...

FEATURES OF BITUMEN-CONTAINING SANDSTONES OF THE VOLGA-URAL OIL AND GAS PROVINCE ACCORDING TO ELECTRON PARAMAGNETIC RESONANCE AND GAMMA SPECTROMETRY DATA

(STEF92 Technology, 2017-06-20, Mullakaev, Almaz)

On the territory of the Volga-Ural oil and gas province in the Permian sediments are concentrated significant resources of bitumen-containing rocks, which are of interest as a source of unconventional oil. In this connection, it is very important to clarify the conditions for the formation of bituminous strata and their productive areas. High efficiency in the study of oil-bearing rocks has radio-spectroscopic methods for determining the structure of the oil deposit and the nature of its oil and bitumen saturation...

ZEOLITIC MINERALIZATION OF PERMIAN CLASTIC RESERVOIRS OF THE ASHALCHINSKY BITUMINOUS FIELD

(STEF92 Technology, 2017-06-20, KOROLEV, Eduard)

The Ashalchinsky bituminous field is located in the southeast of Tatarstan Republic, in south-east part (Volga-Ural region) of Russian platform. The Ufimian reservoir sandstones from above present productive layers blocked by caprocks of Kazanian claystones. Bituminous sandwich of greywacke, fine-grained, loose aggregate, cemented with bitumen. The study of sandstones by SEM analysis showed a high content of analcime - a mineral group of zeolites. Analcim forms crusts consisting of irregular crystal intergrowths. ...

EFFECT OF ADDITIVES ON TEMPERATURE REDUCING DURING ASPHALT MIXTURES PRODUCTION

(STEF92 Technology, 2017-06-20, Remisova, Eva)

In recent years, the focus is more, more often put on environmental protection and energy saving, therefore, a variety of alternative materials, and alternative procedures in the field of road construction are search. One potential option is to reduce the temperature in the production, laying and compaction of asphalt mixtures that favourable affects a carbon footprint. This is achieved by the use of organic additives and waxes, chemical agents or water (foamed bitumen). Depending on the additives, it is possible ...
