The paper presents how to determine the size of the sanitary protection zones and of the hydrogeological protection perimeter related to a water catchments. The water catchment is made of two boreholes for which the lithological profiles and the optimum exploitation parameters are known respectively, the well depth, captured aquifer thickness, hydrostatic level and optimal operating flow.
