THE INFLUENCE OF FALLOW MANAGEMENT ON SOIL AGGREGATE STABILITY

(STEF92 Technology, 2018-06-20, Krivda, V., Petru, J., Kuda, F., Cieslak, I., Demin, S.)

In the years 2011-2016 the effect of different agronomy practices on changes in topsoil qualities of Chernozem was studied. Soil quality refers to the ability of soil aggregates to resist dispersion. Two soil tillage treatments were established ? disc tillage and fallow. The locality is situated in the Mikulov district in a maize-growing region at an altitude of 350 m. The average annual temperature and precipitation was 9.6 °C and 524 mm, respectively. Local soils were characterized as medium-heavy Chernozem on l...

EVALUATION OF THE CO2 EVOLUTION RATE IN ORDINARY CHERNOZEM UPON CONTAMINATION WITH ANTIBIOTICS

(STEF92 Technology, 2018-06-20, Dobrovicescu, A., Nastase, G., Stefanescu, M. F., Serban, A., Sobolev, N.)

Indices of soil respiration are widely used for evaluation of ecosystem productivity as well as for analysis of activity of soil microbiocenosis. Evolution of carbon dioxide can be an objective index of decomposition of soil organic matter and permits to characterize one of the most important aspects of biological cycle. This article analyzes dynamics of carbon dioxide evolution rate in ordinary chernozem upon contamination with antibiotics (ampicillin, streptomycin, tylosin, tromexin, aliseryl) in the concentrati...

ECOLOGICAL STATE OF THE SOIL AT THE ROSTOV-ON-DON ZOO

(STEF92 Technology, 2018-06-20, Karasa, J., Kosttjukovs, J., Pals, M., Kostjukova, S., Morar, M. S.)

A comparative study has been conducted on the ecological and biological parameters of the soil at the Rostov-on-Don Zoo. The objects of the research were the parts of the zoo with various conditions: the cages with different animals (hyenas, emus, cranes, peacocks and other birds, zebras, deer, camels and mountain sheep). Moreover, the influence of the recreational impact, caused by the visitors of the park, on the soil landscape has also been examined. The control part of the zoo for drawing the comparison was th...

SOIL INPUTS AND DYNAMIC OF HUMIC SUBSTANCES IN CHERNOZEMS

(STEF92 Technology, 2018-06-20, Fulop, Susanna, Costica, N., Stratu, A., Jansone, B., Miezite, O.)

This study is aimed at evaluation of organic carbon dynamic after compost application. Object of study was heavily degraded Calcaric Chernozem (Vele?ovice) localized in the south region of Moravia in the Czech Republic, during the field experiment 2012?2016. The experiment was established in a sugar-beet growing region, the altitude of this locality was 298 m a.s.l. and the local climate was classified as warm and slightly arid. Values of long-term average annual precipitations and annual temperatures were 490 mm ...

CHERNOZEM DEGRADATION IN THE CZECH REPUBLIC OVER THE LAST 50 YEARS

(STEF92 Technology, 2018-06-20, Bucur, A., Moga, L., Titov, E., Nikitin, V., Minin, T.)

Chernozem soil-type forms 11% of the agricultural land fund in the Czech Republic. It is located in the driest and warmest regions of the Czech Republic. It occurs up to an altitude of 300 m a. s. l. with an average annual temperature of 8 °C and an annual precipitation of 450 - 650 mm. The very thick humus horizon was formed by the accumulation of humus under the steppe or forest-steppe vegetation. In the Czech Republic, such land is exclusively used for agricultural purposes. Therefore, its character of steppe s...
