ADVANTAGES AND THE PERSPECTIVE OF TO THE SMALL-SCALE FIRE MODELLING

(STEF92 Technology, 2017-06-20, Mullerova, Janka)

Generally, there are 3 basic approaches to fire modelling. The oldest one is full scale modelling, than the small-scale modelling and finally PC simulation modelling such as FDS. If we compare the basic properties of these three approaches, we can compare following criteria. The most important is accuracy, relative costs, professional competence, time of preparation and very important is also the number of possible iterations within a short time period. The highest accuracy still belongs to full-scale models. Full...

COMPARATIVE ANALYSIS OF THE BIOMECHANICAL CHARACTERISTICS OF SPORTS TECHNIQUE USED IN DISMOUNTS AND THE PERFORMANCES ACHIEVED BY JUNIOR GYMNASTS IN UNEVEN BARS EVENTS

(STEF92 Technology, 2017-06-20, Potop, V., Timnea, O. C., Stanescu, M.)

The aim of this paper is to highlight the significance threshold between the kinematic and dynamic characteristics of sports technique key elements used in dismounts and the performances achieved by junior gymnasts in uneven bars events. This scientific approach is part of the formative pedagogical experiment associated to the postdoctoral thesis, at the midway point, in the end of the competitive year 2014. The following research methods have been used for this purpose: bibliographic study of specialized literatu...
