This paper presents the results of research of the influence of the rock-forming minerals on the decomposition temperature of the oil-soluble catalyst precursor in the process aquathermolysis of heavy crude oil. As the catalytic agent was used nickel tallate, which in the process of aquathermolysis of heavy oil is converted into an active form.
