The objective of the paper was to emphasize the influence of the biological activity on the structural improvement of the compacted clayey pedogenetic horizons of two Chromic Luvisols, by the organic matter bioturbation. Up to 50% of arable land is threatened by water erosion in the Czech Republic. Annually, water erosion causes billions of dollars of damage.
