The present paper analyzes - from the point of view of the energy consumption - a residential building in Romania, of usual construction, in order to fit it into the energy certification grid for heating [1]. The study was conducted for 8 thermal insulation variants with a thickness between 5 and 40 cm, each in 3 ventilation cases, in a total of 24 cases [2].
