MICROMORPHOLOGICAL AND MINERALOGICAL DIAGNOSTIC OF POST-AGROGENIC EVOLUTION OF EPISALIC SOLONETZ IN THE NORTH OF THE CASPIAN LOWLAND, RUSSIA

(STEF92 Technology, 2017-06-20, Lebedeva, Marina, Stef, R., Iamandei, M., Grozea, I., Virteiu, A.M.)

This paper presents macro- and micromorphological, mineralogical and physicochemical characteristics of solonetzic processes that developed within a 14-cm-thick plough (P) layer of non-ameliorated Solonetz over a 50-year-long period of its post-agrogenic evolution. These processes have resulted in the formation of a microporofile with micromorphological features of eluvial-illuvial differentiation within the former plough layer. The mineralogical analysis of particle-size fractions (?1, 1?5, 5?10, >10 ?m) of the p...

RAINWATER TODAY, FROM SOURCE OF DISASTERS TO RECOVERED VALUE

(STEF92 Technology, 2017-06-20, Iordan, N., Nastac, C. D., Hornet, M., Bucur, I., Posea, G.)

Nowadays, after intervals of time without rainfall, heavy rain with very high flow rates in very short time are increasingly more often. If extreme rainfall events, storm sewer networks can not take storm water flows, which frequently occurs with flood damage large, often with loss of life. Duet o the fact that rainwater flows to the emissaries in time, the water table drops. Analyzing the frequency of extreme phenomena rainfall and using climate scenarios we can adapt technical regulations related to sizing colle...

AIR SOURCE HEAT PUMP EFFICIENCY. A CASE STUDY FOR ROMANIAN CLIMATE CONDITIONS

(STEF92 Technology, 2017-06-20, Iordan, N., Bucur, I., Posea, G.)

Lowering energy consumption in the residential sector is one of the main priorities in the European Union. This can be achieved by increasing the thermal insulation of the buildings and using renewable sources for energy. One of the most common solutions is the use of heat pumps to produce thermal energy for heating / cooling indoor spaces and for domestic hot water. The geothermal heat pumps are used, but with increased efficiency of air/water heat pumps, they become effective solutions. This work studies the eff...
