The authors have revealed particularities in destruction of the rock mass by the system of borehole charges and substantiated the least seismic hazardous blasting schemes which allow decreasing out-contour disturbances and providing more qualitative crushing of rock mass. The paper presents numerical modelling results for ventilating a blind excavation, if there is a leakage into a failure zone. The leakage value of air seeping through the failure zone (binomial law of resistance) was estimated by a formula describing in-situ tests results at the Kola Peninsula mines.
