USING HYPERSPECTRAL AND MULTI-SPECTRAL REMOTE SENSING DATA TO BUILD SPECTRAL LIBRARY FOR LAND COVER CLASSIFICATION IN SAMARA, RUSSIA

(STEF92 Technology, 2017-11-20, Boori, M. S., Paringer, R., Choudhary, K., Kupriyanov, A.)

The main aim of this research work is to compare the performance of hyperspectral and multispectral data for spectral land cover classes and develop their spectral library in Samara, Russia. We were analyzed and compared Earth Observing-1 (EO-1) Hyperion hyperspectral data to Landsat 8 Operational Land Imager (OLI) and Advance Land Imager (ALI) multispectral data. Hyperspectral imagers, currently available on airborne platforms, provide increased spectral resolution over existing space based sensors that can docum...

A GEOSPATIAL APPROACH FOR VULNERABILITY ANALYSIS ON MOSCOW, RUSSIA

(STEF92 Technology, 2017-11-20, Choudhary, K., Boori, M. S., Kupriyanov, A.)

Vulnerability is an assessment of priorities for implementation in a city. It is imperative to determine vulnerable regions in the city to identify priority areas that may require immediate intervention. Nowadays, several methods used for national, international and local level vulnerability assessment are based on remote sensing and GIS technology. In this research aim to determine the vulnerability of Moscow city using a geospatial based vulnerability index for sustainable development of the city. We use urbaniz...

MODELING THE PROCESSES OF SALINIZATION OF FROZEN SOILS (ON THE EXAMPLE OF AGROZEMS OF CENTRAL YAKUTIA)

(STEF92 Technology, 2017-06-20, Legostaeva, Y. B., Gololobova, A. G., Popa, R., Bob, C., Radeanu, C.)

A significant part of the salinized lands is situated in the continental Asia. These areas include the south of Western Siberia, part of the south of Eastern Siberia, including Zabaikalye and Yakutia, Kazakhstan, the republics of Central Asia and Caucasus, the central part of China, Mongolia, Turkey, Iran and India. In Yakutia the 27,7% of farmland territories consists of frozen salinized soils, mainly concentrated in the central part of Yakutia. Such problems as the distribution of natural salts in the soil profi...

THE STUDY OF THE LUNAR MACRO-FIGURE MODELS USING MULTI-PARAMETRIC HARMONIC ANALYSIS AND EXPANSION IN SPHERICAL FUNCTIONS

(STEF92 Technology, 2017-06-20, Andreeva, Zoya Andreeva Zoya, Cola, M., Corbu, A.R., Vlaicu, P.A., Kozlowski, T.)

The present work is focusing on construction and analysis of 5 lunar models using space and ground observations. Firstly, it should be noted that the task of building a model of the lunar macro-figure relative to its center of mass and axes of inertia does not have a definitive solution yet. Within the present work the models of the lunar macro-figure are developed on the basis of space and ground observations. The methods of observation had implied binding of lunar objects to stars, i.e. celestial coordinate syst...
