EXPERIMENTAL MODEL OF SARS COV-2 IN YOUNG SYRIAN HAMSTERS FOR PRECLINICAL STUDIES

(STEF92 Technology, 2022-11-15, Gleb Fomin, Kairat Tabynov, Nurkeldy Turebekov, Dinara Turegeldiyeva, Rinat Islamov)

SARS-CoV-2 researchers faced the problem of specificity for ACE-2 receptors. In mice and rats, ACE-2 has a low affinity for this virus. In contrast, the Syrian hamster (Mesocricetus auratus) when infected with SARS-CoV-2 show clinical signs of infection with this virus. Therefore, it is necessary to assess the severity of pathological lesions and immune response for relevance to preclinical new drugs against SARS-CoV-2. In this study, we studied blood counts, serum levels of Il-6, TNF-?, IFN-? and IFN-? and the hi...

MATHEMATICAL MODELING OF S.CEREVISIAE GROWTH ON DEPROTEINIZED PLANT RAW MATERIAL HYDROLYSATES

(STEF92 Technology, 2018-06-20, A. Tur)

The approach of Biotechnology Department of Mendeleev University of Chemical Technology of Russia covers integrated processing and the use of secondary by-products in nature-like technologies for bioconversion into highly added value products with unique properties for sustainable development of the planet and lowering the negative industrial effect. This paper presents a mathematical model and solution strategy of S. cerevisiae single cell protein accumulation in deproteinized sunflower meal hydrolysates. Differe...

OPTIMISATION OF DEPROTEINIZED PLANT RAW MATERIAL PRETREATMENT CONDITIONS FOR OBTAINING FODDER BIOMASS

(STEF92 Technology, 2017-11-20, A. Tur)

Fodder yeasts are widely used in animal feeding as a source of protein with high amount of B vitamins. While plant protein is very poor in such amino acids like lysine, methionine, tryptophan, single cell protein contents all complex of essential amino acids. Studies have shown advantages and possibilities of using single cell protein in complex with plant base for animal feeding. Sunflower is being one of the most cultivated agriculture in Russian Federation. Deproteinized sunflower meal is a secondary product of...

POTENTIAL OF BROCCOLI RESIDUES FOR PROCESSING

(STEF92 Technology, 2017-06-20, Dmitry Baurin, Victor Panfilov, Alexandra Tur, Tatiana Guseva, Irina Shakir)

Biochemical composition and microbiological conversion potential of broccoli crop residues was the objective of this research; Florets, leaves and stalks of broccoli were dried and stirred separately. The powders obtained were mixed together in ratio 12:8:80 % respectively, that corresponded to the distribution of these components in farm residues. The biochemical composition of the resulting mixture was evaluated. The identification and quantification of simple carbohydrates of broccoli juice were done with HPLC....

RESEARCH ON GENERAL ADAPTATION SYNDROME IN ANIMALS BODIES TO DIFFERENT FORMS OF STRESS

(STEF92 Technology, 2017-06-20, Student Simona Laura Turcu, M. Nicolae, P. Alexe, Head assistant Mihai Preda, M. Preda)

Animal bodies (mammalian and human body) show a great capacity for adaptation, both to the fluctuations of environmental factors and also regarding the nutrition, increasingly modified. General Adaptation Syndrome (GAS) of organisms, began to be studied in animals and also in humans. In human bodyes, GAS is studied because a number of disease with great significance psychologically, physiological but especially medical, appeard. In both categories of bodies, GAS is investigated by the presence of markers that high...
