Ground level ozone (O3) is a photochemical pollutant with harmful effects on human health, vegetation and ecosystems. The focus of this work are ozone data measured at the synoptic station Ahtopol, a rural site at the southern Bulgarian Black Sea coast. The surrounding area is without big anthropogenic sources of air pollution, rich in biodiversity and protected zones by NATURA2000.
