AIR QUALITY ANALYSIS WITH THE HELP OF THE MOBILE LABORATORY AND PLOTTING DISPERSION MAPS IN CASE OF ACCIDENTAL POLLUTION

(STEF92 Technology, 2022-11-15, Angelica-Nicoleta Găman, S Simion, Marius Kovacs, Lorand Thot)

The mobile environmental laboratory was located in a fuel distribution station located on a heavy traffic national road in Petro?ani City, Hunedoara County (Romania) to investigate dust and gas pollution, as well as dispersion of pollutants to nearby homes, using the AUSTAL VIEW software. Measurements were performed over a period of eight hours in two working days in order to better capture the movement of air masses and the dispersion of measured pollutants. In the event of accidental spills of chemicals or chemi...

NOISE - DISRUPTIVE FACTOR IN WORK

(STEF92 Technology, 2022-12-27, S Simion, George Artur Găman, Angela Găman, Daniel Pupăzan, Alexandru Simion)

Noise is a "by-product of technological metabolism", omnipresent in most workplaces, representing one of the discomfort factors for personnel working in the presence of this noxae. Knowledge of risks generated by exposure to noise specific to each activity carried out, allow quantification of the effects on workers such as: masking, auditory fatigue, sound trauma, acute hypoacusis, professional deafness. Accidental exposure to noise leads to auditory fatigue, which is a transient and reversible phenomenon, but pro...

NOISE LEVEL REDUCTION BY USING SOUND INSULATION / SOUND ABSORBENT MATERIALS

(STEF92 Technology, 2022-11-15, S Simion, Angelica Nicoleta Găman, Alexandru Simion, Romeo Hriscan)

A known and often used method of insulation is represented by soundproof sponge, having the role of sound absorption and improvement of acoustics. The insulating sponge is used in recording studios, Radio TV studios, music rehearsal rooms, for upholstering acoustic enclosures having the role of acoustic correction. The aim of the study is to improve acoustic characteristics of a room that was originally used as an office and is now used as a music rehearsal room and recording studio, making determinations of noise...
