In this work, novel sorption material based on cellulose and polyvinyl alcohol cross-linked by calcium ions is obtained. In order to increase the oil capacity of the sorbent, the mineral glauconite, which has a natural sorption capacity concerning oil, was introduced into the cross-linked polymer matrix.
