The пїЅameli Formation extensively outcrops in Denizli-Mu?la and Antalya (SW Turkey). In this study, the stratigraphy and ostracod assemblages of the пїЅameli Formation was studied. The пїЅameli formation is first defined in the пїЅameli Basin (Denizli) which is one of the grabens formed in Pliocene. The пїЅameli Formation consists mainly of lacustrine sandstone, marl and claystone and shows prominent terrestrial sedimentary features.
