The aim of the article was to assess the content and enrichment of selected ecotoxic elements (As, Bi, Cd, Cu, Pb, Sb, Sn, Zn) and Fe in the fly ash and slag after coal combustion in relation to content in feed coal, and moreover content and enrichment of elements in the topsoil and in the common beech roots (growing in the vicinity of the power plant) in relative to the topsoil levels and common beech roots in local and reference background.
