In the years 2011-2017, 21 boreholes were drilled in the area of the Grodziec syncline as a part of exploration and prospecting works related to copper ores. The borehole recognition was complemented with 2D seismic reflection survey in 2017. As a result, the geological structure of the Grodziec syncline located in the E part of the North Sudetic Synclinorium (south-western Poland) was made more detailed.
