The characteristic thickness and type of intercalations is important when assessing the suitability of bituminous coal deposits for exploitation. The data on coal partings is of key importance due to a number of factors, including: the optimum selection of technological processes of exploitation, the quantity of resources, the quality of the coal output, the cost of production and processing of coal, and the variability of quality parameters of coal пїЅ in that case, the ash content in the examined seams is worth ...

THE VARIABILITY OF VOLUMETRIC DENSITY OF THE SELECTED INDIVIDUAL LITHOLOGICAL UNITS IN THE CU-AG DEPOSIT IN THE LUBIN-GLOGOW COPPER DISTRICT AND ITS INFLUENCE ON THE RESOURCES

(STEF92 Technology, 2017-06-20, Martyna Paszek, Monika Wasilewska-Blaszczyk)

The paper presents the results of the study on the variability of volumetric density of individual lithological types in the Cu-Ag deposit in the Lubin-Glogow Copper District (the Polkowice-Sieroszowice mining area). In the examined deposit, the three main lithological types are made of eighteen ore types with different petrographic and mineralogical composition. Six lithological units with the largest share in the deposit resources were selected for the examination. The statistical description has shown that the ...
