Bird studies in urban parks support our better understanding to impacts of urbanization on natural forest habitats. This paper deals with a case study from Central European mountain Acidophilous spruce forests below the alpine tree line in the Hruby Jesenik Mountains (Czech Republic). These forest ecosystems are protected in the frame of the Natura 2000 European system.
