Association Quercetum trojanae dukagjini in Kosovo as relict and refugial phytocoenosis is preserved only in some specific localities: near Pashtrik, Koritnik, Oshlak and some individuals in complex of Carralevas Mountains near Theranda. The altitude of these grounds is from 300 to 900 m (1000 m). Geological composition is made of limestone rocks. The pedological cover is red earth (terra rosa).
