Flying ad-hoc networks (FANET) based on unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) are characterized by frequent changes in the network topology, which is caused by switching nodes on and off, as well as their movements in space. These aspects of the FANET operation determine the relevance of the development of new routing protocols, which differ significantly from the protocols of hierarchical networks with a constant topology. One of the key problems of FANET is the high overhead costs for transmitting service messages abo...

HIGH-FREQUENCY SIGNAL GENERATORS BASED ON HIGH-SPEED DACS FOR UAV TRANSCEIVERS

(STEF92 Technology, 2021-12-20, Sergey Materukhin, O. R. Kuzichkin, Dmitry Surzhik, Gleb Vasilyev)

The article deals with the problems of designing multi-channel high-frequency signal generators for the transceivers of unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs). It is proposed to use high-speed digital-to-analog converters to increase the output frequency and improve the noise characteristics of UAV transceivers. The possibility of using special operating modes used in modern high-speed direct-to-analog converters (DACs) for digital generation of broadband signals is shown. Mathematical models of noise characteristics at ...
