The treatment of model solutions containing Fe(II), Mn(II) and Ce(III) salts in the range of metal ions concentrations of 20-500 mg/dm3 was carried out at the laboratory set of water purification by low-temperature plasma discharge during the registration of changes in the Red-Ox potential and pH of solutions, the ions concentration and the emission discharge spectrum. Dielectric barrier discharge is low-temperature plasma generated in cases with an dielectric material between the electrodes. The demanding applied task of water treatment is the removal of heavy metal ions, including iron (Fe) and nickel (Ni), ions, from aqueous solutions.
