NITROSATION OF LIGNOSULFONATES BY ELECTROCHEMICAL TREATMENT

(STEF92 Technology, 2019-12-05, Yu. G. Khabarov)

Technical lignins are by-products formed in the amount of about 70 million tons annually during the chemical and biochemical processing of plant biomass in the world. Most technical lignins are burned for energy. No more than 2% of technical lignins are supplied to the market mainly in the form of lignosulfonates due to their good solubility and surface activity. Modification of lignosulfonates can improve their properties and expand the field of practical use. In this study, we carried out a modification of sodiu...

SYNTHESIS OF MAGNETOACTIVE COMPOUND BASED ON REDOX INTERACTIONS OF IRON(II) CATIONS WITH PERMANGANATE IONS

(STEF92 Technology, 2018-06-20, Yu. G. Khabarov)

The interaction of permanganate ions with iron(II) cations as the basis for the synthesis of a composite magnetoactive compound has been studied. The reaction was carried out in an acidic medium, for this purpose an iron(II) sulfate solution was prepared with the addition of sulfuric acid. Condensation was carried out using an alkaline reagent after the redox reaction. The influence of the consumption of potassium permanganate on the magnetic activity of the reaction product has been experimentally studied. Theore...
