The aim of this study was to determine the extent of heavy metal accumulation in soils and potential risks of metals distribution in fruits, leaf and shoots in apple trees with rootstock M9 grown near smelter and mining areas of the Drenas, Kosovo. Individual soil samples were collected from each plant to assess metal content in the immediate plant environment.
