The results of the exploration of the dynamics of water level in the lake Bolshoy Tambukan for the period of more than 230 years is given. Lake Bolshoy Tambukan is a large deposit of peloids in the south part of Russia. Two periods of development of the lake are revealed: natural and natural-anthropogenic.
