EVALUATION OF THE ELECTROWASTE MANAGEMENT SYSTEM IN POLAND

(STEF92 Technology, 2018-06-20, Bialecka, B., Rudzinski, K.)

Management of used electrical and electronic waste is a huge problem both on a local and global scale. The mass of collected electrowaste in Poland currently reaches approximately 5 kg per one inhabitant, and by 2021 it is to increase to 11 kg. According to estimates, only ca 30-40% of used electrical and electronic equipment in Poland is subjected to recycling. The rest is dumped at scrap yards or is illegally processed in the grey zone. Its considerable part is not processed in accordance with the standards and ...

EFFICIENCY OF THE OPERATION OF INDUSTRIAL VENTILATION SYSTEMS

(STEF92 Technology, 2018-06-20, Boanta, C., Gherghe, I., Tomescu, C., Dragoescu, R., Nalboc, I. V.)

The problem of industrial ventilation has emerged as a result of the serious pollution problems that arise both in the industrial and industrial environments. Before addressing an industrial ventilation study, the question should be raised whether there is no simpler means of reducing or eliminating the causes of pollution or of reducing pollution by modifying the production process or the design and construction of the actual ventilation system. Verification of ventilation facilities has a strong preventive role ...

THE METHODOLOGICAL BASIS FOR THE STRATEGIC MANAGEMENT OF TERRITORY DEVELOPMENT

(STEF92 Technology, 2018-06-20, Burlov, V.)

Not having the methodological foundations of solving problems of strategic management (SM) in the form of the conditions of the existence of a process, we cannot guarantee the achievement of the goal of the activity. This situation gave rise to a fundamental problem: "The results of the activity for solving problems of SM do not meet the expectations of the decision maker (DM)." The DM acts on the basis of three categories: System, Model, Purpose. Therefore, it is necessary to solve two problems for successful SM....

GEOINFORMATION RESOURCES IN THE CONVERGENCE OF GLOBAL VALUE CHAINS

(STEF92 Technology, 2018-06-20, DOROFTEI, E., GAVAT, C., MIRON, L., BELENIUC, G.)

A classification of the levels of convergence of geoinformation resources in economic systems is proposed, which puts information technology solutions, services, platforms, infrastructure and categories that the subjects of the economy solve in the process of forming value chains of tasks. The use of convergence of information, financial and material flows is considered, mechanisms of the received synergetic effect are established. A technique for numerical estimation of such an effect is proposed, as well as a mo...
