The Kungurian salt domes are widely pervasive in the Pre-Caspian depression, so that the post-salt Upper Paleozoic and Mesozoic deposits disturbed considerably by salt tectonics. Salt structures formed mainly in the upper Permian time, at the end of which salt massifs broke this thick stratum and they were intensively dislocated. In the Mesozoic period, there was a moderate redistribution of salt, which resulted in uplift of Triassic to Cretaceous deposits on the top of salt bodies. Salt movements affect the posts...
