The paper presents the results of the experiences organized on the tailings dump resulting from the surface mining of lignite in Rovinari, Gorj county, for testing the effects of a fertilizer assortment, such as: liquid fertilizers based on humates extracted from lignite, complex mineral fertilizer (N105 P105 K105 and N150 P150 K150), farmyard manure (20, 40 and 60 t/ha) and compost (20, 40 and 60 t/ha), as well as mixtures of the two types of organic fertilizers with mineral fertilizer. Sunflowers have been used ...

REHABILITATION BY NATURAL MITIGATION OF THE POLLUTED SOILS WITH HEAVY METALS FROM ZLATNA AREA

(STEF92 Technology, 2018-11-20, Dumitru, M., Marin, N., Vrinceanu, A., Manea, A.)

In the polluted area with emissions from Zlatna metallurgical plant, more than 50,000 ha of agricultural and forestry land has been affected by pollution over a time period of 200 years. Approximately 5,000 ha from these lands were severe and extremely polluted. The vegetation was completely destroyed on more than 2,000 ha, leading to intense erosion processes. The forest vegetal cover was completely destroyed, and the trees had some dry branches, spots on leaves, bark burns and even completely destroyed, the oak ...

FERTILIZERS WITH ORGANIC SUBSTANCES AND AGROCHEMICAL EFFECTS

(STEF92 Technology, 2018-11-20, Sirbu, C., Cioroianu, T., Marin, N., Dumitru, M., Grigore, A.)

Humic substances (humic and fulvic acids) are widespread, being present in soil, water, lake sediments, peat, and different coal. Therefore, there is a great interest for their immense role in terrestrial and aquatic systems, as well as their bio-stimulatory effects on plant growth. Humic substances, through their positive effects on plant nutrition and by increasing the tolerance to abiotic and biotic stress, lead to higher yields and superior quality crops. Their role in agriculture is essential, but humic subst...

ANALYSIS MHD SOLAR ACTIVITY USING ROBUST METHODS

(STEF92 Technology, 2018-06-20, Dendura, Bartosz, Selivanovskaya, S., Galitskaya, P., Manea, A., Andreeva, Z.)

The aim of this paper is to analyze magnetohydrodynamic (MHD) solar activity on the basis of modeling and predicting the Wolf number dynamics. This study is based on the use of adaptive regression modeling approach implemented in the software package ARDM (adaptive regression dynamic modeling). The preliminary data was investigated for the presence of trend stability with fractal analysis.Currently, not only the experts in the field of solar physics, climatologists, and researchers in many fields related to the is...

REHABILITATION OF THE STERILE DUMPS RESULTING FROM SURFACE MINING OF LIGNITE

(STEF92 Technology, 2018-06-20, Racetin, I., Ivic, M., Kilic, J., Nistor, I., Stoicescu, M.)

The paper presents the results of the experiments on a sterile dump resulted from surface mining of lignite in Rovinari, Gorj County, where, was been tested the effect of a variety of fertilizer as: liquid fertilizers based on humates extracted from lignite, complex mineral fertilizer (N105 P105 K105 and N150 P150 K150), farmyard manure (20, 40 and 60 t/ha), compost (20, 40 and 60 t/ha), and the mixture of the two types of organic fertilizers with mineral fertilizer. Two test plants, corn, and sunflowers have been...

THE INFLUENCE OF N AND P FERTILIZATION ON SOME CHEMICAL CHARACTERISTICS OF THE SOIL

(STEF92 Technology, 2018-06-20, Gierbienis, Marcin, Rotariu, L., Butnariu, M., SIMO, A., NICOLAE, R.)

The influence of fertilization with nitrogen (N) at doses of 40, 80, 120, 160 kg/ha and phosphorus (P) at doses of 40, 80, 120, 160 kg/ha was studied in a long-term experiment on a Haplic Phaeozems. The results obtained showed the following: the applied nitrogen doses did not significantly influence the humus content in the soil; simultaneous application of 80-160 kg/ha P and 40-160 kg/ha N generated distinctly and very significant increases in the hummus and total nitrogen content of the soil. Ammonium nitrate ca...

HEAVY METALS CONTENTS IN AGRICULTURAL MONITORING SITES FROM THE COUNTIES AFFECTED BY HISTORICAL POLLUTION

(STEF92 Technology, 2018-06-20, Solowczuk, A., Kacprzak, D., Calatan, G., Zimovets, A., Plopeanu, G.)

The industrial activity of the last century has led to the severe environment pollution, especially in the areas where mining and smelting processes were involved. The impact of atmospheric emissions from the metallurgical plants was detected at great distances from the emission source. The main units for the processing of non-ferrous ores (in Romania) were located in Baia Mare (Maramures county ? MM), Copsa Mica (Sibiu county ? SB) and Zlatna (Alba county ? AB). In the Alba and Maramures counties there was and st...

RETROSPECTIVE MONITORING OF SOIL AND LAND COVER OF CLOSED DEPRESSIONS ON THE AZOV PLAIN

(STEF92 Technology, 2018-06-20, Kuryntseva, Polina, Vrinceanu, A., Lacatusu, A., Sirbu, C., Dumitru, M.)

A retrospective monitoring of the land use change in the bottoms of mesodepressions in the Azov District of the Rostov Region in the period from 2014 to 1968 was performed. A cartographic analysis of the changes in soil overmoistening in closed mesodepressions by its indication based on changes in the land use reflected on remote sensing materials was made. The research was carried out within the framework of the problem-oriented system of retrospective soil and land cover monitoring. They revealed that the curren...

THE IMPACT OF LEAD AND OIL POLLUTION ON THE ECOSYSTEM FUNCTIONS OF ORDINARY CHERNOZEM

(STEF92 Technology, 2018-06-20, Kraus, M., Novakova, P., Zak, J., Wachter, I., Kobeticova, H.)

Recently the ecosystem services (services) have been increasingly considered in ecology and soil along with ecological (biogeocenotic) soil functions. This approach is justified by the need for a comprehensive assessment of soils, including the economic one. In laboratory and field experiments, the pollution of ordinary chernozems with heavy metals and oil has resulted in oppression of biological properties of soil: activity of catalase and dehydrogenase, abundance of the Azotobacter bacteria, the germination and ...
