Soil and its irreplaceable functions are dependent on the soil properties. Porosity is one of the fundamental physical soil properties. It expresses the ratio between the volume of pores in the soil and the total volume of the soil in its undisturbed state. The aim of the contribution was to determine soil porosity of soil samples with different soil texture (originating in western Slovakia).
