Last decade of the 20th century has been identified as the warmest period at the northern hemisphere of the Ea rth during this mille nnium. The result of this fact is the proven melting of glaciers and measurable rising of sea levels. The frequency of meteorological extremes in Europe has doubled compared with data a century ago.
