The research studied the influence of the volume and construction of пїЅHikoпїЅ and пїЅPlantekпїЅ containers on acorn germination, resistance of root-closing substrate, height of aboveground plant parts and length of root systems of oak seedlings. The cell volume in пїЅHikoпїЅ containers varied from 25 cm3 to 530 cm3 while in пїЅPlantekпїЅ containers пїЅ 115 cm3 пїЅ 275 cm3.
