-ICROMINERALOGY OF GOLD-BEARING ORES OF METASOMATIC TYPE DEPOSIT IN KAZAKHSTAN

(STEF92 Technology, 2017-06-20, Gulnara Omarova)

Samples of ore for micromineralogical research were selected from the core of boreholes. The mineral composition of the ores, their textural and structural features were examined under an optical microscope in reflected and transmitted light, scanning electronic microscope (SEM) and energy dispersive X-ray spectrometer (EDS) with microanalyzer. Mineralization by its composition is sulfide. The nature of mineralization is imbedded. Phenocrysts are presented by separate idiomorphic grains of pyrite, aggregate interg...

PETROLOGY OF ORE-BEARING METASOMATITES OF GOLD DEPOSIT KOKKYIA (SOUTH KAZAKHSTAN)

(STEF92 Technology, 2017-06-20, student Gulnara Omarova, Adilkhan Baibatsha, Aimkhan Kassenova, Sergei Loparev)

The deposit Kokkyia is located in the exocontact zone of granodiorite intrusion, and zones of hydrothermal alteration, which enclose gold mineralization, are controlled by small intrusions of diorite and syenite of the Upper Devonian intrusive complex and are located in volcanic rocks of sour alkali and medium composition. Practically all the difference of rocks are affected by the processes of hydrothermal changes and are shown as the processes of propylitic nature: albitization, feldspathization, chloritization,...
