LOCAL CRITERIA IN SEARCH FOR KARST MINERALISATION IN THE ACHISAI ORE DISTRICT (SOUTH KAZAKHSTAN)

(STEF92 Technology, 2020-09-20, Kuanysh Togizov, Anatoliy Antonenko, Assem Khodzhimuratova)

In the world practice, lead-zinc karst deposits occupy one of the leading positions in terms of reserves and rich ore mining. In terms of metal content, they excel all other commercial-genetic types. Karst deposits are a new commercial-genetic type for Kazakhstan. One of the promising regions for discovery of the karst deposits is the Great Karatau, known for such objects (Achisai, Karasai, Kantegi, Araltau and oth.). The area of the Achisai ore cluster is composed of thick carbonate strata of limestones and dolom...

RARE-EARTH ELEMENT CONCENTRATION CONDITIONS IN THE RARE-METAL DEPOSITS OF THE KARAKAMYS ORE DISTRICT

(STEF92 Technology, 2020-09-20, Daulet Muratkhanov, Kuanysh Togizov, Yerlan Aksholakov)

One of the promising areas of rare-metal mineralisation containing rare-earth elements is the Karakamys ore district located in the west Balkhash region, within the limits of the Chu-Ili ore belt. The area is under-researched in regard to rare-earth mineralisation. Within the ore district, there are three dozen known rare-metal objects with associated rare-earth mineralisation (Karakamys, Shakshagaily and others). The majority of objects are concentrated in east near-contact zone of the Kaib granitoid massif, in m...

THE STRUCTURAL TECTONIC POSITION AND PREDICTIVE SEARCH CRITERIA FOR THE LEAD-ZINC KARST MINERALISATION (SOUTH KAZAKHSTAN)

(STEF92 Technology, 2020-09-20, Kuanysh Togizov, Anatoliy Antonenko)

The paper considers the structural and tectonic position of the mineralisation in the case of the Achisai ore district. Formation of lead and zinc ores at the Achisai deposit was conditioned by regeneration of stratified ore clusters as a result of tectonic or tectonic-magmatic activation. Therefore, the structural-tectonic control of mineralisation of the Achisai type is one of the cardinal ones, along with the lithologic-stratigraphic one. The lead and zinc mineralisation is confined to side parts of synclines, ...

THE THERMODYNAMIC MODEL OF THE SYRYMBET RARE-METAL DEPOSIT (NORTH KAZAKHSTAN)

(STEF92 Technology, 2020-09-20, Saltanat Assubayeva, Lyudmila Issayaeva, Kuanysh Togizov, Maksat Kembayev, Asan Khadis)

Rare metal deposits, spatially and genetically associated with leucocratic and alaskite granites of the Permian age, are confined to their dome parts and apophyses. According to researchers, the formation temperatures of granitoid intrusions are determined within 890-7500C. The actual data indicate that the formation of these deposits is greatlyinfluenced by conductive heat flow from the cooling ore-bearing intrusive massif, leading to redistribution of temperatures in the near-intrusive space, resulting inemergenc...
