MARGINAL CONDITIONS FOR MEASURING THE LIGHT TRANSMISSION OF WINDOWS

(STEF92 Technology, 2024-11-01, Dagmar Richtrova, Lenka Prokopová, Daniela Bošová)

Construction using 3D printer technology seems to be not just a passing trend and a growing number construction companies are approaching this new construction methodology. Although construction processes with printers are becoming standardized, it is also true that many other aspects must be considered in the design phase. Better this construction methodology becomes known, more architects and engineers will have to learn how to design these constructions, in the methods of statics, systems, etc. A very important...

COMPARISON OF THE ENERGY PERFORMANCE OF BUILDINGS BASED ON MONTHLY AND HOURLY STEPS OF CALCULATION

(STEF92 Technology, 2023-10-01, Dagmar Richtrova, Lenka Prokopová)

As of 1.1.2023, a legal obligation under Decree No. 264/2020 Coll., Section 4, point 1 and Section 12 to calculate the total delivered energy for buildings with cooling, humidity adjustment and/or electricity generation by a maximum hourly step has been established in the Czech Republic. The current monthly calculations represented stationary thermal balances of losses and gains. The new hourly calculation is a dynamic model. The accuracy of the model increases significantly based on the solution of the differenti...

RESEARCH OF THERMAL INSULATION PROPERTIES OF THIN-LAYER INSULATING MATERIAL ON HEAT STORAGE TANKS

(STEF92 Technology, 2022-11-15, Pavla Vrbová, Lenka Prokopová)

The article deals with the research of thermal insulation properties of thin-layer insulating material made of hollow glass-ceramic microspheres in relation to technical building installations. Until now, there has been a lack of scientific studies describing the effectiveness of thermal insulation properties of thin-layer insulation materials on distribution systems or technical equipment. In this particular case, the insulation material was applied in a two-millimeter layer to a heat storage tank and the heat lo...

INFLUENCE THE OUTSIDE THERMAL INSULATION FROM GLASS MICRO BUBBLES ON DAYLIGHT

(STEF92 Technology, 2018-06-20, Lenka Prokopová)

Our paper is focused on translucence of daylight through micro-glass-bubbles. We applied Glass Micro Bubbles as outside thermal insulation on a cargo container and researched their influence on quantity of Daylight in interior. In the roof of the cargo container is a lengthwise roof skylight and its outside surface was coated of this innovative glass material. We used simple mono-cellular hollow spherical elements, known as the - Glass Micro Bubbles. They are made of borosilicate glass, which is resistant to water...

GLASS MICRO BUBBLES LIKE THERMAL INSULATION HAVING INFLUENCE ON DAYLIGHT IN INTERIOR

(STEF92 Technology, 2017-06-20, Lenka Prokopova, Doc. Daniela Bosova, arch. Frantisek Novotny)

Innovative materials, which can be applied to the glass and glass structures, allow us to improve their physical properties and thus directly affect the quality of the internal environment inside the glazed objects. For us it is examined innovative material is again glass - its form - elements that exhibit extreme reflective properties and allows a significant improvement in thermal and technical properties of glass constructions. We use simple mono-cellular hollow spherical elements, known as the "Glass Bubbles"....
