The paper present the LIFE09 ENV/RO/0 00612 - CLEANWATER project, which foresees the development of an integrated approach for the management of nitrogen pollution, within the river catchments, with emphasis on modelling tools for delimiting the nutrients vulnerable zones, as well as for analyzing the proper measures from the environmental and economical point of view.
