In order to properly manage water resources in a river basin, it is necessary to identify trends in the evolution of rivers flow. Long-term trends analysis for river flow in north eastern part of Romania is based on two different methods: non-parametric rank-based Mann?Kendall (MK) test and innovative trend analysis (ITA). These two methods were applied for 7 hydrometric stations located in river basins unaffected by hydro-technical works, with hydrological observations on the average flow for the period 1950-2017...
