AUTO TRANSPORTATION - AN IMPORTANT FACTOR IN POLLUATION GROWTH AND IN ATMOSPHERIC CHANGES

(STEF92 Technology, 2018-06-20, Valentin Amorțilă)

This paper addresses an analysis on atmospheric pollution done by road vehicles. The substance emitted by vehicles that are present in the air, depending on their quantity and concentration, affects our health, generates discomfort and alters the environment. Global warming, or the greenhouse effect, since a certain period of time, is increasing from year to year. The recent increasing in registrations of vehicles which work on conventional fuels from the past few years (diesel oil, petrol) have led to a worrisome...

DRIVER-S BIOMECHANICS INFLUENCE ON AIR POLLUTION

(STEF92 Technology, 2018-11-20, Valentin Amorțilă)

The presented paper identifies a potential factor that can amplify the atmospherically pollution due to drive?s biomechanics through the actuating devices and car controls. Most of the car drives neglect the operating techniques suggested by the manufactures. Thus, the overwork of the internal combustion engine amplifies the pollutant emissions. The driver position and the level of pollutant emissions can also be influenced by the heeled shoes. The delayed action of the clutch pedal and the delayed gear change lea...
