HYDROLOGICAL AND METEOROLOGICAL MONITORING IN THE NIZHNY NOVGOROD NPP SITING REGION

(STEF92 Technology, 2018-06-20, Bryukhan, F., Vinogradov, A., Vinogradov, I., Vinogradova, M.)

Assurance of radiation and environmental safety of nuclear power plants (NPPs) implies development of an automated radiation monitoring system. In its turn, such a system presupposes that hydrological and meteorological monitoring should be arranged on the NPP site and in its vicinity. Monitoring is launched at pre-design stages of the NPP construction project, and continues during the construction, operation and decommissioning (dismantling) of the plant. The goal of the study is to generalize the results of hydr...

COMPUTER DETERMINATION OF OPTIMAL PARAMETERS FOR THE TELESCOPE PLACED ON THE LUNAR SURFACE

(STEF92 Technology, 2018-06-20, Motu, A., Vlad, D., Luca, F., Volova, T., Imbrea, F.)

The aim of the present paper is to give a brief review of results of computer simulating observations of the lunar rotation from the lunar surface. The simulation of physical libration of the Moon using the lunar telescope was performed on the basis of multiparametric analysis. High expectations in terms of obtaining accurate data on physical libration of the Moon are linked with SELENE Japanese project. The project implies an installation of the optical telescope at one of the Poles of the Moon. The observation o...

ASSESSMENT OF ATMOSPHERIC DISPERSION CONDITIONS FOR NUCLEAR POWER PLANTS CONSTRUCTION

(STEF92 Technology, 2018-06-20, Bryukhan, F., Bryukhan, A., Vinogradov, A., Vinogradova, M.)

Atmospheric boundary layer (ABL) dispersion conditions relate to key natural factors that characterize radiation and environmental safety of nuclear power plants (NPPs). Therefore, the said conditions are studied in sufficient detail even at pre-design stages of NPPs construction. Given the ongoing development of nuclear power industry, synthesis of methodological approaches to NPP siting options with due account of atmospheric dispersion conditions is of great interest. Formal pursuit of requirements and recommen...

DEVELOPMENT OF NEW METHODS OF AUTO- AND CROSS-CORRELATION ANALYSIS OF QUASI-STAR OBJECTS- X-RAYS INTENSITY

(STEF92 Technology, 2018-06-20, Seglins, V., Kukela, A., Lazdina, B., DITU, L., MIHAESCU, G.)

The present paper demonstrates capabilities of flicker-noise spectroscopy (FNS) as a phenomenological approach to the analysis of astrophysical objects? time signals using an example of the study of quasars radio-wave radiation dynamics in various frequency ranges (S band (2 GHz) and X band (8 GHz)). The promise of FNS application to the study of signals generated by accreting astrophysical objects is caused by inclusion of informational parameters characterizing the components of time sequences in various frequen...
