The paper presents the results of the study of the formation and accumulation of heptyl in wild plants from soil, contaminated by rocket fuel, at the sites of emergency falling of «Proton-M» launch vehicles in Central Kazakhstan. It has been experimentally proved that certain concentrations of heptyl in gray-brown sandy soils are not phytotoxic for Agropyron pectiniformee (1-5 mg/kg) and Artemisia dracunculus L.(1-25 mg/kg), however it can cause anatomical morphological changes of roots andleaves.
