The paper gives comparative analysis of the method of vacuum extraction of Chaga carried out by the authors. The process supposed that the ground Chaga was pre-vacuumed for 10 minutes in order to release the holes from air and moisture vapor and conduce efficient time pregnation of the extractant; further, the author saddled still dewatering the ratio 1:10 and kept at the temperature of 70°C.In the process of extraction, the pressure was hourly lowered to 0.3 atm, which promoted the boiling of the extractant in a vacuum medium. The procedure lasted 5-7 minutes, depending on the boiling point of the extract. In total, this process took no more than 7 hours. A classical two-stage method of Chaga extraction was used as a prototype for comparison, in which, in the first stage, the ground Chaga is poured with distilled water in a ratio of 1:6 and placed in the chamber for 5 hours at a constant temperature of 70°C. Further, the obtained extract is segregated from the meal, which is then poured with water in a ratio of 1:4 and extracted additionally for 5 hours at the same constant temperature. It is proved that the technology proposed by the authors not only intensifies the extraction process, but also increases the output of melanin from Chaga.
