In recent years, bio-economics and alternative energy sources have become increasingly important in the economic environment of the European Union. The reasons for this development are not only environmental, but also economic benefits. The Union is seeking to increase investment in alternative energy sources, thereby promoting sustainable development, new jobs and the circular economy. Alternative energy sources, also known as renewable energy are inexhaustible sources of energy that do not pollute the environment. The main reason for increasing the share of renewable energy sources (RES) is to achieve the objectives of the Europe 2020 strategy, which the EU has set five ambitious objectives on employment, innovation, education, social inclusion and climate and energy that should be met by 2020. All member states have their own national targets in each of these areas. Also, the Slovak Republic has the obligation to increase the use of RES in proportion to the gross final energy consumption from 12% in 2016 to 14% in 2020. One way to achieve a higher share of RES is their application in the new construction buildings. A very important part of the construction design is the efficient design of the construction site, which affects the performance of employees at the construction time and the final quality and cost of construction. The paper presents an example of a suitable combination of two types of RES as wind energy and solar energy. Their interaction produces a synergistic effect. In this paper, we are focusing more on the design of secondary electricity consumption. Analysis of local climatic climate data and their mathematical treatment for the proposal was based on own measurement (own weather station) and cooperation with the local weather station (SHMU). The results can be used for more efficient design of RES on selected objects of construction site equipment, which will contribute to higher efficiency at the stage of preparation and construction of buildings, and last but not least, to obtain a higher rating in the green certificate of world companies such as LEEDS and BREAM.
