Municipal waste sludge belongs to a specific type of wastes formed in a process of mechanical, biological and chemical treatment of wastes. The sewage sludge, due to its variable content, constitutes a big problem with respect to optimum and safe sludge management. There is no single correct way to treat sewerage sludge. One needs to remember that the selection of the management method of the formed sludge is individual and depends to a large extends on the size of particular waste treatment plant. A subject of tests was physicochemical analysis of the municipal waste sludge in the light of optimum use in the place of its formation. The analysis was carried out for waste treatment plant of capacity of RLM = 310 750.
