The work presented in this article is based on the formulation and research of the mechanical and thermal properties of self-compacting concretes (SCC) made from the cement industry waste. This waste is of high alumina, finely ground and incorporated as filler. Mechanical testing in compression and in tension by splitting has been performed and that in the compare to control concrete specimens. To examine the performance of our concrete at high temperatures we have introduced two sample a concrete witness and the other of self-compacting concrete (SCC) in a laboratory oven, and the subjected to a heating cycle up to 1000 ° C and in the compare between them X - Ray diffraction analyze XRD are then made to the sample (SCC) before and after heating, to identify new formed crystal phases. The valorization and use refractory brick waste as additions to the self-compacting concrete can contribute to improve their characteristics, particularly at elevated temperatures, (mechanical strength to 72.61 MPa and a thermal resistance which exceeds 1000 °C at a dosage of 40 % of refractory brick of the mass of cement).
