Based on the recent forecasts in the IoT (Internet of Things) market, it is expected an increase in the adoption of cloud resources and deployment of internet-based technologies and processes. Smart Health is one of the key industries which has already embraced the IoT paradigm. In this paper, we will describe a remote sensing solution which connects environmental sensing - meteorological data, air quality measurements, with physiological parameters gathered through a range of intelligent wearable devices. The purpose is to advance a cloud platform which aggregates data from multiple devices, thus combining environmental sensor data with physiological and behavioral sensor data to empower patients in a rehabilitation center with decision support tools for behavioral choices and treatment options. We will describe the sensing technologies implemented so far (with the methodology of configuring and installing the remote sensing devices) and also explain from the user point of view - user scenarios, how the rehabilitation programme will integrate the environmental information.
