The integration of a building into the environment can be achieved both from the architectural point of view and from the point of view of the used building materials, thus remarking material used since ancient times, namely wood. Wood is an organic, sustainable, environmentally friendly material that can reduce carbon dioxide emissions
Due to the latest environmental protection requirements, economic issues related to construction costs and architectural diversity, it has been necessary to develop technologies related to the production of wooden construction systems, resulting in the industrialized wooden structures, prefabricated wood elements, load bearing walls with wooden structure.
These buildings have a constructive solution that reduces technological waste and excessive material consumption. The construction solution can be used both in protected areas and in developed urban areas
The article will also include a comparison between a traditional solution and a modern solution, along with their advantages and disadvantages.
This article will address the topic of using modern, constructive wood-based solutions that can improve the quality of the environment and human lives (Eco-innovations for sustainable development).
