Countries around the world are concerned with securing enough fuel and energy for their national economy. At present it is important supply of buildings with energy and their efficient consumption. The economical use of energy and fuel in the non-productive sphere consists of rationalizing energy consumption in the building and energy supply to the buildings. The most energy consumed is recording heating of buildings the reason is to cover thermal losses. The European Union is focusing on supporting the modernization and renovation of apartment buildings. The aim of this paper was to analyze the socio-economic factors and their impact on the renovation of apartment buildings. Our aim was to assess by research the current position on building insulation. Based on the distribution analysis, we identified the social factors that affect the final decision of the target segment - customers. In this paper we analyzed social-economic factors by statistical method - multidimensional regression analysis. The results of analyzes highlighted the key socio-economic factors affecting the renovation process of apartment buildings in Eastern European countries.
