The Intersect Drilling method is a modern drilling technique for HDD (Horizontal Directional Drilling), giving a completely new dimension to Horizontal Directional Drilling technology. Its creation was mainly due to the need for drilling in difficult conditions, where drilling with the use of only one drilling device is often impossible or ineffective and could end in the failure of the entire project. To cope this it is necessary to apply modern solutions in this technology. One such solution is the Intersect Drilling method where an integrated single borehole is achieved by drilling from the entry point and from the starting point. In the Intersect Drilling technology, apart from systems that are used in the conventional Horizontal Directional Drilling method, the main advanced tracking system is the Paratrack system. It is characterized by increased flexibility in the positioning of the drill string and its dimensions. This method will reduce the risk of breakdown and complications.
